Proudly supported by our wonderful new sponsor, the RAA, and our long time supporter ProAV Solutions, FIVE successful applicants will receive up to $400 to help cover participation costs, which can include the registration fee and equipment hire. Teams need to obtain a quote from ProAV Solutions.

This FREE interactive workshop will explore how to quickly pick up a script and adapt to the fast-paced environment of the 48 Hour Film Project. Participants will gain insight into understanding their role on set, the importance of collaboration, and staying in their lane. The session includes improv games to enhance creativity, build ensemble skills, and encourage networking. There will also be dedicated time to connect with fellow actors, share experiences, and form potential teams for the project.
Nick Launchbury & Brett Archer are working screen actors and co-owners of Prompt Side Actors’ Collective, an Adelaide-based studio focused on film acting and self-taping technique. Drawing on the Howard Fine / Uta Hagen tradition, they combine strong foundational training with practical, on-set skills to help actors deliver authentic, camera-ready performances.
