🎥 Registration is now open for the 19th annual Toronto 48 Hour Film Project!

🎬 This will be our biggest year yet — a massive celebration of the filmmaking community, bringing together more than 1,500 filmmakers for creativity, chaos, collaboration, networking, screenings, after-parties, awards, prizes, and the unforgettable rush of making a movie from scratch in just 48 hours.

Teams will have just 48 hours to write, shoot, edit, and deliver a brand-new short film — and then we’ll screen all of the completed films on the big screen at the Revue Cinema! 🎥✨

🏆 We’ll be handing out more than 30 awards, along with a ton of amazing prizes — including a $5,000 rental package from Panavision Canada for the winner of Best Cinematography.

🌎 The winner of Best Film will advance to Filmapalooza in Curaçao, where it will represent Toronto and compete against the Best Films from more than 130 participating 48HFP cities around the world. Top films from Filmapalooza may also be selected to screen at the Cannes Short Film Corner.

ACTRA members are welcome to participate! Please note: ACTRA Toronto requires all participating ACTRA members to have Accident on Set Insurance, and ACTRA members cannot perform stunts. We’ve negotiated a great bulk rate with AFBS: $10.80 per ACTRA member, per day of shooting. Team Leaders must also complete a simple one-page ACTRA LOU listing participating ACTRA members, and the ACTRA Toronto logo must be included in your film credits. It’s an easy process, and it’s the same one we used last year. Not using ACTRA performers? You can simply ignore this section.

🎥 Gear Discount. Need equipment? Vistek is offering 30% off rentals for all participating teams during the filmmaking weekend. www.vistek.ca

🎬 Register today and be part of our biggest year yet — it just might be your best filmmaking experience of the year!

Cast and crew can be added right up until the filmmaking weekend.

We can’t wait to see what you create! 🏆🌎✨
