The Reno 48 Hour Film Project is back, and the call has gone out across the realm. Gather your fellowship, prepare your gear, rally your team, and get ready for one unforgettable weekend of filmmaking.

This year, we are bringing the energy with two major moments you will not want to miss:

Before the filmmaking quest begins, join us for Cue the Chaos, a special Reno 48 Hour Film Project event celebrating the creative madness, community spirit, and wild fun that makes this competition so unforgettable.

Costumes are highly encouraged.
Pictures are highly encouraged.
Chaos is absolutely expected.

Come dressed as hobbits, elves, dwarves, wizards, rangers, or whatever legendary creature your inner filmmaker demands. Whether you go full Middle-earth or simply throw on a cloak and declare yourself mysterious, we want to see it.

Take photos, pose with your team, capture the costumes, and help us show off the creativity of Reno’s filmmaking community before the 48-hour clock even begins.

Then comes the official beginning of the quest: Kickoff.

At Kickoff, every team must have at least one representative present to receive the required elements, draw their genres, and prepare for the filmmaking weekend ahead.

This is where the mission is revealed.
This is where the clock begins.
This is where the fellowship steps into the fire.

So sharpen your pencils, charge your batteries, clear your memory cards, and gather your fellowship.

The genres will be drawn.
The required elements will be revealed.
The clock will begin.
And Reno will answer the call.
