The 48 Hour Film Project is the only competition that:
- Was founded in 2001
- Takes place in 150+ cities around the world
- Provides a screening for all films
- Hosts Filmapalooza — our annual screening and awards festival
- Partners with the Cannes Film Festival’s Court Métrage to screen our best films.
The Four Points Film Project (4PFP), our annual online competition, is an official partner of the 48HFP.
All other timed competitions and festivals (24, 48 or 72 hours) are not affiliated with the 48HFP. (Just because it says 48 in the name doesn’t mean it’s us.)
