The weekend? 30 April - 2 May 2021

The challenge? To make a film in only 48 hours!

Filmmakers from all over the Adelaide, AU area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world at Filmapalooza 2022 for a chance at the grand prize and an opportunity to screen at the Cannes Film Festival 2022 Short Film Corner.

48HFP Indigenous & Multicultural Filmmakers Grant

Thanks to support from the City of Adelaide, we are pleased to again offer this grant to encourage diverse storytelling as part of this year's competition.
Four grant recipients will receive up to $500 in total to support the costs of the competition. This may include registration fee, camera/equipment rental and/or accommodation or travel costs (for regional applicants).
