The weekend? May 19 - 21, 2017

The challenge? To make a film in only 48 hours!

Filmmakers from all over the San Diego, CA area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world at Filmapalooza 2018 for a chance at the grand prize and an opportunity to screen at the Cannes Film Festival 2018, Court Métrage.

It is the a local micro-brewery called 'Pacific Islander Beer Company. People of all ages are welcome to attend. We have arranged for a taco truck to be there in case you are hungry too! In addition to PIB's signature beers on tap and there will also be non-alcoholic drinks available...all in a Polynesian themed setting.

Films will be screened one at a time with what is sure to be a lively discussion about each film afterwards. Grab a ticket at the door for the screening you wish to attend. A schedule of films and screening times will be sent in a follow-up reminder e-mail.
