The San Diego 48 Hour Film Project
The 48 Hour Film Project comes to San Diego on the weekend of August 14th. Filmmakers from all over the San Diego area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world.

This year, teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Once the initial registration is complete, we will accept teams for the Waiting List. If a registered team must drop out, we will go to the Waiting List. If there is enough interest, and we can secure additional theater time, we may be able to add more teams from the list.
Early Bird Registration is $135. Teams must register on or before Monday, July 20, to get this special rate. Afterwards, registration is $155.

How do you make your 48HFP film better? Ask the pros!
New for this year is a series of filmmaker seminars where you can learn the fundamentals of 48HFP filmmaking from award winning and experienced professionals. The seminars are also a great place to meet other filmmakers, join or start a 48HFP team, and find actors for your films. There will be a charge of $15 per person for each Saturday Seminar, or you can attend BOTH for only $25. A full 6 hours of discussion designed to help you create the best film possible! This Saturday's three Seminars will cover the following areas: Producing, Directing and a Short Film Discussion Panel. Each seminar will be 90 minutes long with a 30 minute Q & A session afterward. Ticketing and panelist information will be posted here soon. |
