•. Create a film (or another film!) for your reel
• Practice new techniques -- in a low-risk setting

• Create work to help show off your skills to find that next job!
Plus, new this year… the top three teams will be eligible for the soon-to-be-announced 48HFP “Yes We Cannes” challenge in December!
So much has changed during the pandemic! You may have seen the Austin Film Studios in the past, but what's changed? We're gonna find out!
Masks required. No sandals nor open toe shoes!
This is a LIMITED event -- only 10 spots available. HOWEVER, we'll head over to the HEB Mueller Main Streat after for late lunch/early supper ("Lupper?") and drinks, where others can meet and mingle with us.
Donations of $10 or more will earn a free drink at the Bar at Mueller after the tour.
Austin's Robert A. Burns was the genius behind the look of classic horror films including The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Re-Animator and The Howling. He was deeply obsessed with cult actor Rondo Hatton aka The Creeper. Burns was average looking but brimming with odd creativity. Hatton, who suffered from acromegaly, had a strangely unique appearance, but was a regular guy. Their stories weave together in Rondo and Bob to create a very human story of the search for love.
Written & Directed by Joe O'Connell.
After the movie, we'll head over to the Long Play Lounge a few blocks away at 704 West Saint Johns Austin, TX 78752.
