The Minneapolis 48 Hour Film Project
The 48 Hour Film Project comes to Minneapolis on the weekend of

This year, teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Once the initial registration is complete, we will accept teams for the Waiting List. If a registered team must drop out, we will go to the Waiting List. If there is enough interest, and we can secure additional theater time, we may be able to add more teams from the list.
Regular registration is $160. If teams register after Tuesday, May 29 they must pay a rate of $175.

| Looking for more people to crew on your film? In search for a breakthrough performer? Just need an excuse to get out of the house to drink some brews and chat it up with other filmmakers? If you agree with any of those then this event is for you!
We'll have an informal Q&A session where team producers and prospective participants can ask questions about the competition. We're also going to pass out name tags for people to wear (which are kinda lame, we know). BUT, these will help potential cast/crew members easily connect with team producers, and vice versa. At 8:00pm we'll fire up the projector and will be watching some of the best 48HFP films from years past on the biggest screen in downtown Minneapolis! This is your chance to connect with other film artists and see some of the best films from previous years and get ideas on how to make your film a hit! |

| Once again we'll be hosting a panel discussion at IFP Minnesota and this year the topic will be Essential Team Members. This is a panel for anyone who is curious about which members they absolutely need to have on their team in order to succeed. We'll have experienced artists representing each role on the panel who will discuss what to look for when selecting crew, and why each position is vital to the production of your film. There will be time for attendees to ask questions of the panelists, and afterward everyone will be encouraged to stay around to socialize with each other and the panelists.
