The Greensboro 48 Hour Film Project

The 48 Hour Film Project comes to Greensboro on the weekend of June 21 - 23, 2013. Filmmakers from all over the Greensboro area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world.

This year, teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Once the initial registration is complete, we will add teams to a waiting list.

Early Bird Registration is $140. Teams must register on or before Monday, May 27 to get this special rate. Regular registration is $160. If teams register after Tuesday, June 11 they must pay a rate of $175.

Greensboro 48HFP Meet-n-Greet

Notes	RSVP: greensboro@48hourfilm.com A great opportunity to gain general information, ask those burning questions about the 48HFP, and mix, mingle, build teams, and learn more from and about each other. Park on Davie Street or in the Church Street Parking Deck next to the Main Library. (Parking is free when you leave after 7 pm). From the first level of the parking deck, follow the sign to the connecting walkway for the arts center. Instead of going in the arts building, turn right and follow the sidewalk around the right corner of the building to Europa.

Short Film Script Writing Seminar

Place	Room 106, Studio Theatre, Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Davie Street, Greensboro
Notes	RSVP: greensboro@48hourfilm.com Stephen Hyers, MFA, will lead the program. In addition to being a fight choreographer, film director, and managing director of the Drama Center, he's had 20 years of experience writing 300 10-minute plays and will share how to make that work on film. Parking is available on Davie Street, enter the front of the building, and go down to the first level. Parking is also available in the Church Street Parking Deck and is free for those leaving after 7 pm. From the deck's first level, go to the walk-through on the back side and enter the rear of the arts center on the same level as the meeting room.

Notes	One-way entrance from Elm Street. Entrance and Exit on Lewis Street. If traveling south on Elm, cross the section of multiple railroad tracks and make an immediate right into the parking lot.

Time	6:30 - 8 pm (by 7:30pm to be on time!)

Premiere Screenings

Place	Carolina Theatre, 310 S. Greene Street, Greensboro, NC
Notes	Parking on the street is free after 6 pm. Parking deck on corner of Greene and Washington Streets is free after 6 pm, with a $2 flat rate after 9 pm.
