The Greensboro 48 Hour Film ProjectThe 48 Hour Film Project comes to Greensboro on the weekend of June 21 - 23, 2013. Filmmakers from all over the Greensboro area will compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. The winning film will go up against films from around the world. Enter today! Space is limited. This year, teams will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Once the initial registration is complete, we will add teams to a waiting list. Early Bird Registration is $140. Teams must register on or before Monday, May 27 to get this special rate. Regular registration is $160. Instead of going in the arts building, turn right and follow the sidewalk around the right corner of the building to Europa. |

Stephen Hyers, MFA, will lead the program. In addition to being a fight choreographer, film director, and managing director of the Drama Center, he's had 20 years of experience writing 300 10-minute plays and will share how to make that work on film.
Parking is available on Davie Street, enter the front of the building, and go down to the first level. Parking is also available in the Church Street Parking Deck and is free for those leaving after 7 pm. From the deck's first level, go to the walk-through on the back side and enter the rear of the arts center on the same level as the meeting room. |
