Alumni Achievements: Hampton Roads 48HFP Filmmakers Take Silver for Best Event Video Promo in IFEATuesday, June 19, 2018

Hampton Roads filmmakers and former 48HFP global Grand Champions JPIXX have one more award to add to their ever growing "wall of fame." Earlier this year, the team won the Silver award in "Best Event Video Promotion" at the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA)  for their 2017 Norfolk Harborfest video.

The three minute video was the result of 11 crew members covering the three days of festivites at the annual Harborfest event. The team from JPIXX managed to pull out a finished product in just a day, that garnered over 30,000 views in the first week alone.

Each year, the International Festivals and Events Association (IFEA) recognizes outstanding accomplishments and top quality creative, promotional, operations and community outreach programs and materials produced by festivals and events around the world. They feature awards in over 69 different categories that cover everything from TV promotions to t-shirt designs to social media campaigns. JPIXX was selected as global Runner-Up in the Event Video category for their Harborfest 2017 promo video.

JPIXX are long time participants in the Hampton Roads 48HFP. Their 2011 film "In Captivity" was the global Grand Champion and their 2010 film "Passion Fruit" was the Hampton Roads 48HFP Best Film winner. Learn more about their work at http://jpixx.com.
